In 1962, JJ Welch constructed a 15,500 SF academic building for our school - The Children's Center for Communication - Beverly School for the Deaf. At the time, the post-modern building was a national showcase and the renowned architect was Hugh Stebbins (Citibank building among others). That classroom building is still in use today. In 2019, more than 50 years later, JJ Welch was again contracted to construct a building for our campus. Our new Life Skills Center building, an 8,000 SF addition to our academic space is a new gem to our instructional space. By architect, Tom Peterman, the building masters universal design for access and accommodations. This highly specialized space was completed on time and under budget. I hope that our school can work with JJ Welch in the coming decades. Many thanks to Justin, his team, and the Welch Family.

This is my second review as we just finished our second project that JJ Welch has helped us with (the Brookline office being the first) and I couldn’t be more thankful for their expertise, professionalism and, most importantly, honesty. From our first meeting with Justin Welch, the JJ Welch team and throughout our entire Butter “UR” Biscuit project, the service was outstanding, to say the least!!!
